1:30 p.m - 2:15 p.m : Opening conference
o Part 1: FEVAD
To open the conference, Marc Lolivier, Fevad CEO, will put the FEVAD barometer on the mood of e-commerce bosses into perspective.
o Part 2: Simplicity, Vision. Back to basics
Has commerce lost sight of its fundamentals? In the midst of the ecological transition and the AI revolution, we're past the disruption phase, but not yet in control. What if this were the ideal time to get back to basics, to rediscover the very essence of the retail profession and brand values?
Leaders and executives of major French brands will share their vision, their convictions and their reading of the current transformation. How to reconcile heritage and innovation? In the spirit of Steve Jobs' famous “Be insatiable. Be crazy” by Steve Jobs, this opening conference invites us to rethink commerce with ambition and high standards: go for the essentials, simplify without impoverishing, innovate without spreading ourselves too thin.
30 minutes to instill a strong dynamic, nurture rich exchanges and encourage bold decisions throughout the event.

From effiency to joy - why we should rethink the customer experience
Real, unexpected joy in shopping is a dying art. Ironically, in a world full of choices, finding an unexpected gem is harder than ever before. But good news: With a more focused approach to discovery, brands and retailers can spark a sense of surprise and delight that consumers are often missing in today’s highly efficient but sometimes soulless shopping landscape. Based on insights of current market research, this panel will discuss how a spotlight on “joy” could improve shopping experiences and help advertisers stand out in a crowded market.

2:30 p.m - 3:15 p.m : One to One Conference: Leadership in the storm: developing “anti-fragile” strategies in an unpredictable world.
The world of e-commerce is shaking. Traditional models are shattering. Geopolitical crises, technological upheavals and unpredictable consumer behavior are putting business models on borrowed time. But what if this storm was actually a great opportunity? Contrary to popular belief, tomorrow's winners will not be those who master AI perfectly, but those who know how to decipher complexity and transform uncertainty into strategy. At this conference, we'll be looking at how to turn volatility into a lever for differentiation and growth, so that leaders are no longer spectators, but architects of their own success.

2:30 p.m - 3:15 p.m : Workshop FEVAD: Between regulatory and competitive pressures, what will be the face of tomorrow's e-commerce in France and Europe?
The last mandate of the European Commission marked a real regulatory turning point for e-commerce, with the adoption of major texts such as the Digital Markets Act, the Digital Services Act, the AI Act, Ecodesign and the RSGP. These regulations redefine the e-commerce framework by imposing new obligations on industry players, while strengthening consumer rights.
Further major reforms are still on the horizon. The Digital Fairness Act and the reform of the EU Customs Code could reshape the rules of the game in terms of consumer protection and taxation of cross-border trade. At the same time, there is a growing awareness throughout Europe of the need to regulate the uncontrolled growth of non-European players.
France is not to be outdone, with its own batch of legislation making the fight against the environmental impact of the textile sector a political priority. A proposed law, unanimously adopted in April 2024 by the French National Assembly, could transform the entire textile industry.
What new obligations will apply to you from 2025? Which ones are in the pipeline, and which ones does your company already need to prepare for? How can you meet them? What impact could they have on your activities and future developments? Get a head start on the next regulatory deadlines and be ready to anticipate them thanks to FEVAD's expertise on all these subjects.

10:00 a.m - 10:45 a.m : One to One Conference: Edgar, Dunn & Company: How can you position payments as a growth gas pedal within your company?
In the past, payments were seen as an accessory and sometimes as a support function in some companies. Payments have in fact become strategic and a key element in customer relations, enabling the creation of new customer journeys. A survey by Edgar, Dunn & Company reveals that 80% of companies with a payments team have generated additional revenue thanks to payments.
The round table will address the following questions:
- What is the right way to structure payments within a company? A payment manager, a payments team, reporting to which department?
- How can effective governance be formulated to facilitate the decision-making process?
- How can payments support merchant growth? With
